Come shop directly from our artisans at our zero commission bazaar\, see traditional crafts in a new light\, hear our stories\, try making magic with your own hands in our workshops\, and connect with handmade in the most special ways! \n  \nArtisan Direct gathers 20 diverse craft producers practicing several crafts – from Aari\, Sujani and Tilla embroidery in Kashmir to Lambani & Kasuti in Karnataka\, Copper bell craft & Ajrakh in Kutch\, mat weaving from West Bengal\, wood carving in Uttar Pradesh to the Punja durries & Kavads in Rajasthan and\, eco-friendly handicrafts like banana fiber\, bulrush reed\, recycled paper products – again from Karnataka – you will find it all here. \n  \nThe show brings forth a confluence of two profound creative forces : Craft & Design\nWe believe that craft and design are two faces of the same coin. Infact\, in the Indian context\, craft and design have always been used interchangeably. However\, in the last two decades or so\, the dynamic has shifted\, skewing towards designers and reducing artisans to mere manufacturers or suppliers.
